RTD Temperature Sensor
Temperature measurement is a key parameter in all monitoring solutions. Dynamic Ratings offers several temperature sensors to meet the needs of various typical measurements – from liquid measurements such as transformer oil temperature, through to solar shielded sensors for ambient temperature.
Design Advantages
All of our sensors are standard Platinum 100Ω (Pt100) Resistive Temperature Detectors (RTDs) providing increased accuracy and long term stability. Unless otherwise specified, RTDs are offered as 3-wire IEC-751 Class A devices and are supported by all Dynamic Ratings monitoring systems.
For measurement of liquid temperatures, single and dual element probes are available with both fixed length and adjustable (cut to length) options. Thermal pockets are available in both wet and dry styles.
For new transformer applications, Dynamic Ratings recommends Dynamic Ratings rotating wet well valve (SE-068) for easy access to current or future sensors without draining the transformer tank and without taking the transformer out of service. Please read more about the rotating wet well here:

Ambient temperature sensors are available with a radiation shield assembly or a panel mounted version for simple installations.
