Dynamic Ratings' Powerline Communications System (PCS) delivers a cost effective and robust solution for establishing communications almost anywhere. The PCS is a hardened product that sends data across existing power lines, therefore eliminating the costly need to install new copper or fiber cables. The communication is done either by TCP/IP, RS-232, or RS-485 and uses the latest data encryption technologies. The PCS hardware can be used to monitor the signal strength thus providing insight regarding maximum data transmission speeds.

The Dynamic Ratings instruments have been proven to be compatible with a number of different wireless radios offering serial or Ethernet configurations. The standard model used for serial connection is 2.4GHz frequency hopping spread spectrum. Each system is custom designed for the specific installation including the antenna, custom cables and enclosure penetration kits.
